Betconstruct-owned online casino and sportsbook operator Vbet has secured its first every French football sponsorship arrangement by becoming the official betting partner of Ligue 1 football club, AS Monaco.
The deal will cover the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons.
Expanding its French market presence, the brand will be displayed on ‘Les Monégasques’ matchday shorts.
Vbet Founder and Chief Executive Vigen Badalyan says, “We are proud of this long-term partnership agreement with AS Monaco, which undoubtedly marks a major milestone in the history of Vbet.”
AS Monaco Chief Executive Oleg Petrov added: “We are very happy to establish this partnership with Vbet, a very dynamic and essential player in its sector. AS Monaco and Vbet are now linked by a common interest and passion, football, but also, and above all by the same spirit of adventure, innovation and a strong desire to establish themselves in very competitive markets.”
The partnership also comes after Vbet agreed on a deal to become the new title sponsor of the American Premier League.
The season began this past weekend (21st August 2020) and is scheduled to run until 23rd May 2021.
Ligue 1 undertook an image makeover as the online food delivery platform Uber Eats became the title sponsor of the league. It is a record deal secured under lockdown by the French Football Federation (FFF) as French football’s biggest ever sponsorship commitment.
