In their first-ever branded online slot, Pragmatic Play has developed and launched an engaging game adaptation of the hit British TV drama series, Peaky Blinders.

Since the show’s release in 2013, it has been watched by tens of millions of viewers worldwide. For those who are unfamiliar with the concept, Peaky Blinders were a real-life gang from 19th century Birmingham. Every week, views follow the exploits of the Shelby family, who lead the gang and use the members to further their business interests in gambling and other industries.

Pragmatic Play has been licensed to include images of the characters Tommy and Arthur Shelby (Cillian Murphy and Paul Anderson) as well as Polly and Michael Gray (Helen McCrory and Finn Cole).

Peaky Blinders slot gameplay

The wagering value for this game can be modified from one coin to ten and the coin value ranges from €0.01 to €0.50. High rollers can go all in at the €100 maximum stake, whereas other players can stake from the €0.20 minimum level.

Pragmatic Play rates the Peaky Blinders slot as four out of five on the volatility scale, and it has an RTP of 96.50%. Symbols payout from left to right when matched along 20 fixed paylines, and the Peaky Blinders symbols provide greater payout than the ordinary playing cards.

Peaky Blinders slot bonus features

There is a Shelby Betting Shop feature which is triggered if the Tommy Shelby symbols land on the fifth reel with a bonus symbol on the first and third reels. At random, any character symbol shall receive a cash reward and free spins are active.

With bonus symbols on the first and third reels, a By Order of the Peaky Blinders symbol can appear on the fifth reel to initiate the second special feature. In addition, this provides free spins but the player can first benefit from character and wild symbols being held in place for a re-spin.

Season 6 for Peaky Blinders

The season finale for season 5 aired almost a year ago on 22 September 2019.

Creator Steven Knight has shared with the Birmingham Press Club (via BBC News) that they are not finished with the story yet and Peaky Blinders season 6 is currently in the works. But unfortunately, due to the pandemic, filming has come to an abrupt halt and is now delayed for the seeable future.

As of now, viewers may not be able to watch the new season until the end of 2021 or perhaps early 2022.
