Paddy Power has rounded-up several celebrities to take part in its Golf Shootout. The charity event took place behind closed doors on Friday 5th June at the Centurion Club in Hertfordshire and was met with great success.

The list of celebrities included broadcaster Piers Morgan, TV and radio presenter and former cricket star Andrew Flintoff, and former football stars Jamie Redknapp, Peter Crouch, and Harry Kane. These celebrities were competing against professional golfers Carly Booth, 2019 Open runner-up Tommy Fleetwood, 2018 Ryder Cup-winning captain Thomas Bjorn, Paul McGinley, and Andrew ‘Beef’ Johnston.

According to statements, all participants were more than excited about the opportunity to swing their golf clubs. “We’ve all been waiting for an event like this to showcase the return of golf,” said Tommy Fleetwood.

The 10 players took part in eight golfing challenges, before competing in a shootout which brought the event to a close. Challenges included individual and team competitions such as golf pong, blind putting, shot at goal (shooting at football goals on the fairway), and Happy Gilmore longest drive.

The winner of the shootout was Jamie Redknapp who scored 8 points.
