Lloyds Banking Group have announced they will provide access to Gamban to Lloyds, Halifax, and Bank of Scotland customers. Gamban is a gambling-blocking software that can be used via mobile banking apps to freeze all transactions to gambling websites.

The pilot version of the app will be available to all customers with a free three-month trial. According to Elyn Corfield, this is another way to give support to clients who find it hard to control their gambling habits. Thanks to Gamban, customers can easily suspend all gambling-related transactions.

Gamban had made the decision to develop this app because compulsive gambling is often referred to as a financial problem. Therefore, it adds a layer of protection can help players control their behavior and act prudently.

The British public has welcomed Gamban software and banking industry’s joint dedication to protect customers with regulatory bodies. It is expected that Internet Service Providers (ISP’s) will make the next move and monitor the accessibility of certain casinos and betting websites. Even though gambling is a favorite pastime activity, players are often exposed to unlicensed gambling and betting sites that offer unregulated gambling and do not provide mandatory support to addicts.

All of the casino and betting sites featured on this site are fully licensed and regulated, ensuring safe gaming all day, every day.
