American comedian and movie star, Kevin Hart, has signed a deal with partypoker, naming him the platform’s “global ambassador”. The collaboration was announced on Rob Yong’s Twitter (partypoker’s partner), in a video that features both him and Kevin.
Considering how Hart posts regular updates on his quarantine due to COVID-19 pandemic, encouraging his followers to practice social distancing and embrace new activities, it is believed that the video was made before the Coronavirus crisis.
“I asked my man Kevin Hart to help me promote amateur poker,” Yong explained. He further added how Kevin Hart is the highest stakes amateur player in the world and wants him to help promote amateur poker.
Hart simply added that the world of poker will now get a lot more fun: “Expect it to get real, and expect us to get rid of all of the people that make it so f****** technical, man.”
This is not the first time Kevin Hart got involved with major poker websites. In 2017, he was the face of poker website, PokerStars, along with Usain Bolt and Neymar.
It is estimated that the comedian is worth $200 million, and his sense of humor will be more than welcomed across all partypoker events, as well as broadcasts on Poker Central and Triton.
