GVC Holdings, the global sports betting and gaming group, announced that they have successfully migrated all brands within the Ladbrokes Coral business onto their proprietary platform. The migration represents the final stage in the integration of all Ladbrokes Coral brands acquired in 2018, including Ladbrokes, Coral, Gala Bingo, Gala Casino, and Gala Spins.
GVC explained how this is the largest migrations in the history of their business. One of the most difficult tasks was moving 25 million Ladbrokes customers to the proprietary technology platform.
“It is a great testament to the sophistication of our technology and the quality of our teams, and it is particularly impressive that they have managed to finalize it during this period of remote working,” said Shay Segev, the GVC’s Chief Operating Officer. He added his belief that the integration will help GCV to emerge from the current COVID-19 crisis with a position of strength.
The migration will deliver greater efficiencies, stability, speed to market, product development, and customer propositions. It will also support faster adaptation to regulatory changes and deliver tools and initiatives for supporting and promoting safe gambling. The GVC still has to complete the back-office integrations but insists they will stay “on track” to deliver £130 million in annualized synergies by the end of 2021.
