Gucci, one of the most renowned Italian luxury brands in fashion, launched a limited edition of their popular Dive watches in an unexpected collaboration with Fnatic’s (esports) League of Legends team. The watch, which is still in production and can only be pre-ordered, will be available as a limited edition online exclusive on gucci.com.
The new Dive watch combines the eclectic aesthetic of the fashion brand with Fnatic’s signature shades of black and orange. This collectible timepiece features a 40mm stainless steel case with water resistance to a depth of 660 feet. Super LumiNova accents light up the black dial with Gucci’s signature “GG” which conveniently is also gamer shorthand for “Good Game”.
The Fnatic logo is positioned on the dial at the 6 o’clock marker, while the adjustable black rubber strap makes the watch useful for both underwater adventures and daily wear. Each timepiece’s caseback is engraved with ‘Fnatic’ and the limited-edition number.
The marketing campaign features five League of Legends players: Martin “Rekkles” Larsson, Zdravets “Hylissang” Galabov, Tim “Nemesis” Lipovšek, Gabriël “Bwipo” Rau, and Oskar “Selfmade” Boderek.
Gucci also announced they will celebrate the new collaboration with a new game that will be available in their Gucci Arcade.
